Alligator skin over-supply due to the economical crisis and the reduced consumption. Things made out of alligator skin are not particularly the most elegant and beautiful… Lets face it odd coloured alligator skin stuff can be down right tacky! Plus it seems as if the reduction of production could imply a excess of gators being released by the reduced production. Consequences are not just going to be alligator farms closing down and people losing jobs… but it could also lead to an ecological imbalance!
So should gator-bags be banned? Should there be a alligator-rescue plan? Should we increase alligator meat in our diets? What do you think?
